A website everyone can use — and fewer legal surprises.

Millions of people browse with screen readers, keyboards or zoom. If they can’t use your website, you lose customers — and in the US and EU you can face complaints, demand letters or lawsuits. We find the barriers, fix them in your code and keep your site accessible every month.

  • Real fixes in your code — not an overlay widget
  • Manual testing with keyboard and screen readers
  • Monthly monitoring, reports and an accessibility statement
  • Works with WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix and custom sites

The problem

Most websites quietly lock people out.

The six most common issues — low-contrast text, missing image descriptions, unlabelled form fields, empty links and buttons, and a missing page language — make up 96% of detected errors. They’re invisible to most site owners, but they stop real customers from booking, buying or getting in touch. They are also exactly what complaints and lawsuits point to.

US
ADA Title III

Businesses open to the public are regularly sued over inaccessible websites in federal and state courts — hotels, restaurants, retailers and service firms alike.

EU
European Accessibility Act

Applies to e-commerce, banking, transport booking and more when you sell to EU consumers, wherever you are based. Standard: EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1 AA).

UK
Equality Act 2010

Service providers must make reasonable adjustments so disabled people aren’t put at a disadvantage — online services included.

CA
AODA & more

Ontario requires larger organisations’ websites to meet WCAG 2.0 AA, and public buyers worldwide increasingly ask suppliers for proof.

Why not just add a widget?

Overlays hide the problem. We fix it.

Accessibility overlays add a toolbar on top of your site but leave the broken code underneath. Courts and regulators have not accepted them as a fix, and in 2025 the US FTC fined one vendor for claiming otherwise.

Overlay widget

  • Doesn’t change your underlying code
  • Can interfere with screen readers people already use
  • No manual testing, no evidence trail
  • Recurring fee with risk unchanged

Xuru Accessibility Care

  • Fixes made in your theme, templates and content
  • Tested by people with keyboard and screen readers
  • Monthly reports and a documented fix history
  • Accessibility statement kept current

How it works

From audit to always accessible.

A complete process, run by our team every month — so accessibility doesn’t slip every time you add a page, product or campaign.

01

Audit

Automated scan of every page plus manual keyboard and screen-reader testing of your key pages and journeys against WCAG 2.2 AA.

02

Prioritise

A clear report ranked by risk: what blocks customers, what complaints focus on, and what is quick to fix. Fixed quote included.

03

Fix

We fix the code, templates, colours, forms, images and content — directly in WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix or your custom stack.

04

Verify & publish

We retest every fix and publish an accessibility statement with a way for visitors to report problems.

05

Monitor monthly

Monthly scans, manual checks of new content and a report in your inbox — with fixes included in your plan.

Packages

Start with an audit. Stay accessible monthly.

Every package starts with a written, fixed quote. Cancel any time with 30 days’ notice. Larger remediation projects are quoted after the audit, with a fixed price agreed before we start.

Accessibility is an ongoing process: we work to WCAG 2.2 AA and document everything we do, which puts you in the strongest position — but no provider can guarantee that a business will never receive a complaint. We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice; if you have received a legal letter, please also speak to your lawyer.

Does accessibility law apply to my business?

In the US, the ADA has been applied to the websites of businesses open to the public, and thousands of lawsuits are filed each year. In the EU, the European Accessibility Act covers services such as e-commerce, banking and transport booking sold to EU consumers, including by non-EU companies; very small service businesses (under 10 staff and €2 million turnover) are exempt. The UK, Canada and Australia have their own rules. If you are unsure, your lawyer can confirm — we can give you the technical picture.

What standard do you test against?

WCAG 2.2 level AA — the latest version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. It covers WCAG 2.1 AA, which the EU standard EN 301 549 is based on, and what US courts and settlements usually refer to.

Will an accessibility widget or overlay make my site compliant?

No. Overlays don’t fix the underlying code, and they have not stopped businesses from being sued. In 2025 the US FTC ordered one overlay vendor to pay US$1 million over claims that its widget could make any website compliant.

How quickly can you fix my website?

Most audits are delivered within 5–10 working days. Common fixes — contrast, alt text, labels, focus styles, headings — are often done within the first month of a Care plan. Larger issues, such as rebuilding a checkout, are scheduled and quoted up front.

Which platforms do you work with?

WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace and custom-coded sites. We need editor or developer access to make fixes; on closed platforms we fix everything the platform allows and document the rest.

We’ve received a demand letter. Can you help?

Yes. We can audit your site quickly, prioritise the issues the letter mentions, fix them and provide a written record of the work for your lawyer. Choose “We received a demand letter” in the form and we will treat it as urgent.

Can I cancel a monthly plan?

Yes. Plans are month to month with 30 days’ notice. Your reports, fix history and accessibility statement stay yours.
