Student Training & Live Projects Terms
Last updated: 15 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-15
These terms apply to Xuru Academy training programmes, workshops and live-project programmes run by Xuru Technologies Private Limited. They apply together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Details for each programme are given to you in writing before you pay.
Eligibility and enrolment
Each programme has its own eligibility requirements, which we share before enrolment. Enrolment is confirmed when you have accepted these terms and the programme details, and met the stated payment requirements. Participants under 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian, who must also accept these terms.
Duration, fees and payment
Programme duration, schedule, fees, taxes and payment schedule are stated in the programme details before you pay. Fees must be paid according to that schedule. We may withhold access to sessions or certificates while payments are overdue, where the law permits.
Attendance and participation
You are expected to attend scheduled sessions, take part actively and complete assigned work by agreed deadlines. Minimum attendance or participation requirements, where they apply, are set out in the programme details.
Project scope and learning objectives
Each programme has defined learning objectives. Student projects may be educational demonstrations or supervised practical assignments. We describe a project as a real client project only when that is accurate and the client has authorised it.
Tools and third-party software
You may use development tools, software and online services, some provided by third parties. You must follow their licence terms and use any accounts we provide only for programme work. Some tools may require you to create your own accounts, which are governed by the provider’s terms.
Confidentiality and client data
You may have access to confidential information, including client data in authorised projects. You must keep it confidential, use it only for the assigned work, not copy or share it, and follow our data-handling instructions. This obligation continues after the programme ends.
Academic integrity and acceptable use
Work you submit must be your own, or properly credited. You must not plagiarise, misrepresent AI-generated work as your own where disclosure is required, or misuse tools, systems or access provided to you.
Intellectual property and portfolio use
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, you keep rights in original work you create for educational exercises. Work created for client projects belongs to the client or to Xuru as set out in the relevant agreement. You may show programme work in your portfolio only where the programme details or the client permit it, and never including confidential information.
Assessment and completion
Completion requirements — such as attendance, assignments and assessments — are set out in the programme details. We assess work fairly and give feedback on it.
Certificates
Where a programme includes a certificate, it is issued only when completion requirements have been met and fees paid.
Cancellation and refunds
Programme-specific cancellation, rescheduling and refund conditions are set out before payment, and our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy also apply. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you have that cannot be excluded.
Conduct and discontinuation
You must treat mentors, other participants and clients with respect. We may take proportionate disciplinary action — including warnings, suspension or removal from a programme — for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, harassment, dishonesty or misuse of data or systems. Where we discontinue a programme for operational reasons, we will tell you and explain the options available under the programme terms and applicable law.
No guarantee of employment
Our programmes are designed to build skills and experience. We do not guarantee employment, internships, placements, paid project work or any particular career outcome.
