Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-15
This policy explains how projects, consultations, training and other services provided by Xuru Technologies Private Limited can be cancelled. It should be read with our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy. Nothing in it removes rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded.
How to cancel
To cancel a project, consultancy engagement, training programme or other service, send a written request to info@xurutechnologies.com. Please include:
- your name and organisation (if any);
- the invoice, proposal or project reference; and
- the date from which you want the cancellation to take effect.
Where your Agreement or applicable law requires it, cancellation takes effect once we acknowledge it in writing. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly during working hours (Monday to Friday).
Confirmed projects
Once an Agreement has been accepted and the engagement confirmed, cancelling does not automatically entitle you to a refund. By that point we may have allocated staff, reserved time, purchased licences, incurred third-party expenses, started planning or begun work.
Any cancellation charges or amounts payable are determined by the Agreement, the work already performed, costs already committed, and applicable law.
If work has already started
If you cancel after work has started:
- work completed up to the effective cancellation date may be charged as set out in the Agreement;
- approved third-party costs that cannot be cancelled may remain payable, where contractually agreed and legally permitted;
- unpaid amounts for completed milestones or other agreed charges remain due, subject to applicable law; and
- completed or partially completed work will be delivered in line with the Agreement and its intellectual property terms.
Cancellation by Xuru
If we need to discontinue a project for a legitimate operational, legal or technical reason, we will tell you in writing, explain why where we can, and set out the next steps. Any refund, credit, partial delivery or other remedy will be handled under the Agreement and applicable law.
Consultations, training and workshops
Cancellation and rescheduling deadlines for consultations, training sessions, workshops and student programmes are communicated before you book. Where a specific cancellation fee or rescheduling restriction applies, we will show it to you before you confirm the booking.
Student programmes are also covered by our Student Training & Live Projects Terms.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy removes cancellation or withdrawal rights that cannot legally be excluded. If you are entitled to a statutory cancellation or “cooling-off” period, you can use it by contacting us as described above within that period.
If you ask us to begin work before a statutory cancellation period ends and then cancel within it, you may be required to pay for the work carried out up to the point you cancel, where the law allows.
